Solar Dimming High Pressure SON/HID Ballasts

Solar dimming ballasts for high pressure sodium (SON) lamps and designed to operate in concert with photocell (available separately). These ballasts incorporate connections for a photocell and logic to automatically turn lights ’ON’ or increase their brightness at nightfall and decrease lamp brightness or switch them off at daybreak in response to day length sensing assisted by a photocell (available separately). The day length sensing enables these ballasts to operate at any latitude and provide the correct light output to correspond accurately with varying day and night length throughout the year.
