RS PRO 1 to 4 IDE Connector Splitter Cable
A 450mm IDE (Integrated Drive Electronics) splitter cable for the connection of multiple hard drives, CD/DVD drives etc to the motherboard of computers that use Parallel ATA (PATA) interface to connect to the motherboard.
Creating 4 additional IDE connections from one through the use of a main 4-pin male IDE connection to 4 x female IDE connections the cable is perfect for extending and customising computer systems that have a restricted number of mother board ports.
Although IDE cables have been widely replace by the use of SATA cables they are still a useful and essential part of older systems.
