The TC6501/2/3/4 series of temperature switches have 5 factory-programmed temperature thresholds and a variety of factory-trimmed temperature points.

TC6501: A switch with an open-drain, active-low output that is suitable for hot temperatures.

TC6502: A switch with a CMOS, active-high output that is suitable for hot temperatures.

TC6503: A switch with an open-drain, active-low output that is suitable for cold temperatures.

TC6504: A switch with a CMOS, active-high output that is suitable for hot temperatures.

Typical applications for the TC6501/2/3/4 temperature switches include notebook computers, network boxes, thermal management within PCs and servers, over-temperature fail-safe circuits, fan controllers, temperature alarms, projectors and printers.
