RS PRO in. Drive VDE Insulated Socket Set

From RS PRO, this nine-piece socket set is VDE insulated for professional applications. The set comes complete with a 1/2 inch square socket driver and a selection of socket heads. It employs a reversible ratchet action for a smooth and low effort tightening or loosening of the fastener.

The sockets are designed to drive on the flats, not the corners, this enables them to suit metric/imperial, A/F, Whitworth, BSF and BA hexagon nuts and bolts. As such, the 9 piece set is in practicality equivalent to a 26 piece set.

These are manufactured from high-grade chrome vanadium steels, which are insulated using two contrasting insulating layers, yellow and red. This allows for visual inspection of the tools should damage occur. The positively bonded insulation material has excellent mechanical and electrical properties, ensuring these tools can be used confidently in challenging environments.

The socket set is supplied in a convenient high visibility case for ease of storage and transportation.
