HD3SS460 High-Speed Passive Crosspoint Switch Evaluation Module, Texas Instruments

The HD3SS460 is a high-speed bi-directional passive 4x6 channels cross-point switch in multiplexer or demultiplexer configurations for USB Type-C™ including Alternate Mode applications. The HD3SS460 evaluation module can be used with a legacy DP Source and/or USB Host system to evaluate the Type C implementation. DisplayPort receptacle is available for a capable source. There is no on-board CC/PD controller. The board has test headers that can be used to connect CC and/or other necessary signals to an external Type-C controller to evaluate the Type-C implementation.
