Detalhes do produto

Eaton Bussmann Series Fast Acting Fuses - KTK

Eaton’s Bussmann series KTK fast-acting supplemental fuses for resistive loads such as control circuits, meter circuits and lighting circuit protection. These cartridge fuses have a melamine tube construction and nickel-plated end caps. For superior protection, Eaton Bussmann recommends upgrading to Low-Peak™ Class CC fuses.

What Speed is it?

These cartridge fuses are “F” speed rated, which is short for Fast Acting. This is also known as fast blow and is popular in general purpose applications. They are designed not to handle current spikes over the rated current.

What size is it?

These cartridge fuses are available in the compact size of 10x38 mm, also known as American Midget style fuses.

What voltage is it?

These cartridge fuses are available with 1 to 30 Amp current ratings for applications where the system voltage rating is 600 Volts AC.

What is Breaking Capacity?

Breaking capacity is the level of current that the fuse can safely handle without exploding or breaking. The breaking capacity of your fuse should be greater than the fault current of your electronic circuit.

What are cartridge fuses used for?

• For the protection of components and equipment from costly damage used by over-current
• To isolate sub-systems from the main system once a fault has appeared

What is an overcurrent?

It is a setting where a circuit experiences a current that is higher than the normal operating current.
