This exceptional plier set from RS PRO consists of three high-quality pieces all VDE insulated. The plier set is great for those users who require a quality set from professionals (Electricians) to general DIY'er as they are essential tools to have handy. The set is kept within a foam tool module within a handy tool case designed for easy transportation.
The set has a combination of pliers and cutters are made from Chrome Vanadium Steel and VDE approved meaning that our plier sets have undergone rigorous testing to meet safety requirements of the EC Directive. Ergonomic handles offer great comfort when cutting soft and hard wires. The quality feel of the grips helps to ease user fatigue in prolonged use coupled with a smooth operation. The serrated jaws allow for an excellent grip on the subject, so you have confidence the job can be done.
Cutters- occasionally called wire cutters they are designed for cutting through wires and cabling, you can get side cutting, end cutting and diagonal cutting pliers.
Long nose pliers- needle-nose pliers, pointy-nose pliers or snipe-nosed pliers, multi-purpose use. in anything ranging from electrical work to jewellery making.
Combination pliers- are designed to be both a functional pair of either round- nose, long nose or flat nose pliers with a built-in cutter.
