This cable gland provides a sealed entry for cables in industrial enclosures, offering IP68 protection with a dome-headed nylon construction. It is intended for use where cable retention and environmental sealing are required outside hazardous-area applications and conforms to recognised material-flammability standards.
Prepare a clearance hole matching the thread diameter to ensure correct engagement with the supplied locknut and washer for a secure fit.
Retention is provided by an internal cable clamp designed to compress across the specified cable clamp range, maintaining mechanical grip and seal under strain.
It is intended for non-hazardous areas and does not carry hazardous-area certification, so it should not be used where hazardous approval is necessary.
Colour variants aid technicians in distinguishing feed types or functions quickly during wiring and maintenance operations.
These glands are NOT designed to be used with steel wire armoured cable.
