Scope of protection

• Protection in accordance with DIN VDE 0661 in the event of faults in the connected electrical appliance. Residual currents caused by defective consumers result in all-pole cut-out via the PRCD-S
• In case of unit faults in the permanent installation. The PRCD-S detects all potential faults in the permanent installation and cannot then be activated
• The PRCD-S detects the external voltage on the earth wire — although it does not interrupt the protective conductor connection. As a result, the external voltage can be released via its own upstream protectors FI and LS

• Highly suitable for construction sites and fire service applications as per recommendations from the Trade Association for Precision Engineering and Electrical Engineering, as well as for all portable electrical devices

• Encapsulated design for use in harsh environments
• Capable of being connected to the supply line of the electrical device itself (H07 RN-F 3G2.5 mm²)
