RS1020 wire tracer is a professional general purpose cable and wire locator, ideal for tracing cables in walls or underground. This tracer can also be used for locating fuses / breakers on final circuits, locating interruptions, short circuits in cables and electrical floor heating systems. Additionally for tracing metallic water, tracing conductors in soil and hidden heating pipes. The detector and transmitter is used to apply a signal to the desired circuit under investigation, the receiver is then used to trace the signal in the circuit. The receiver also incorporates a torch function for working in dimly lit locations, with a back-lit digital display. Whilst the transmitter displays transmission level, code and the foreign voltage.
