This photoelectric sensor detects objects using background suppression and is designed for industrial automation environments. It features a rectangular form factor with an LED light source and is built in a threaded housing for panel or fixture mounting. The unit operates across a broad temperature span suitable for harsh workplace conditions and connects via a 4-pin M12 connector.
It employs a 4-pin M12 connector for standard industrial cabling and quick integration into control systems.
The suppression technique focuses on the target plane, reducing influence from distant backgrounds and improving detection reliability on mixed-colour materials.
It can be operated continuously within a range from −40°C up to 60°C without affecting specified performance.
Both NPN and PNP switching outputs are provided, enabling connection to sinks or sources in control architectures.
For retro-reflective sensors a suitable reflector is required.
